The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over A Lazy Dog

(Evidence of the beginning stages of my insanity.)

Pangrams

The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over A Lazy Dog" is an example of a pangram: A saying that uses every letter of the alphabet, A-Z.

This particular pangram is the most famous one.

Why devote a web site to it?

I was thinking about testing of domain names, and especially long ones, and although domain names can be as long as 63 characters, this phrase sprung to mind and thought it could be a good test domain name. Then an overwhelming sense of urgency filled me and I decided I needed to own it. I am not usually a compulsive or impulsive shopper, but this one just bit me and there was no denying it. I hope I don't become a collector of other pangram sites, as it could get expensive. Fortunately, Yahoo! has this deal where I can buy a domain for $2.99. It is so cheap as to make it irresistable. I am checking with my bank now to see how many more I can get!
This site is not for resale by the way.

I probably should not admit to this insanity while pointing at my "for real" websites, but if you are curious, go to XenCraft.com and I18nGuy.com. My real work is internationalization. (I18n)
